Terms & Conditions of The Children’s Wellness Centre Babysitting Agency:
1. Access to the babysitting network is valid for one year and can be accessed 365 days a year. There is no limit to how many bookings you can make in a year
2. After agreeing to the terms and conditions and paying the membership fee, we will send an email to you with a brief questionnaire about your family set-up, allowing us to match suitable babysitters to your needs
3. Please include all details on the questionnaire relating to specific needs of your children and disclose any pets that you have
4. We request that you text our babysitting text-line with 48 hours’ notice every time you request a sitter
5. You will receive a text back from us within 24 hours confirming your sitter’s details
6. We shall text you contact details of the sitter. If you would like to arrange a time for your sitter to come and meet the children beforehand, this can all be arranged personally with the sitter. Sitters must be paid for this time
7. For last minute babysitting bookings, when there is less than 48 hours’ notice of the required time you need a sitter, there will be a surcharge of £5. These additional charges are invoiced to you every three months. Failure to pay surcharges will result in temporary suspension to the network

9. We have a minimum 2-hour booking condition to make the job viable for our babysitters. This 2-hour booking condition does not apply if you are arranging a paid pre-meet with your sitter
10. We request that you pay your babysitter a minimum of £10 per hour and £11 per hour if you have requested a sitter during the day (9am-6pm). Any more than this is at your discretion
11. Payment is made directly to the sitter. We do not take any percentage of the sitter’s earnings
12. If you want to request a particular sitter please include this in your text when making your booking
13. We request that the environment for our sitters is comfortable and safe
14. If you need a sitter for bookings outside of your home, for example in a hotel or at a wedding please include this when you text us
15. For the safety of our sitters, after 10pm we request that you provide a taxi for the sitter to get home. We aim for the sitter coming to you to be local to the area
16. The Children’s Wellness Centre carries out an interview, reference and DBS check on all sitters
17. Although we have high expectations of all our babysitters, there is no complete guarantee of reliability, honesty and character of the babysitter provided by the agency. Any concerns please contact us immediately
18. The Children’s Wellness Centre will refrain from having any babysitters on our books when there is sufficient negative feedback regarding that individual
19. If you need to cancel your booking please contact us, or your sitter directly from the contact details on your confirmation text
20. If cancellation of the babysitter is made within 4 hours of start time, a 3-hour charge will be invoiced to you. This will be forwarded directly to the sitter
21. If your sitter cancels the babysit, we shall do our utmost to provide you with a replacement sitter
22. To ensure reliability of our sitters, we have a condition that if sitters cancel more than two jobs without sufficient notice they will be taken off our books
23. Although we will do our absolute best to always provide sitters whenever you need one, we cannot guarantee that this will always be possible
